Do you think you are an experienced HGV Mechanic looking to join a thriving, well-established workshop? We’re recruiting a skilled and professional individual to join our well respected client in Haywards Heath.

The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, as well as preventative maintenance, of our client’s fleet.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all relevant risk assessments.
  • Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs independently.
  • Ensure vehicles are ready for MOT inspections.
  • Repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults on vehicles.
  • Carry out vehicle computer diagnostics.

Skills

  • Experience as a mechanic within a commercial vehicle environment.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge in MOT preparation.
  • Exceptional knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • HGV Class 2 Licence (preferred however not required).

What We Offer
Full-time, permanent position – immediate start.
Pay rate: 23-24£/ hour (Umbrella rate) depending on experience.
Up to 50 hours per week (Monday–Friday).
Overtime and weekend work available at competitive rates.
Weekly pay.
