Driver Hire/dh Recruitment (Torbay) is on the lookout for an HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join our client’s team in the Newton Abbot area. You will play a key role in delivering frozen and chilled foods to a variety of establishments, including restaurants, cafes, and takeaways across the South West. This position involves a multi-drop delivery schedule, with the potential of handling over 20 drops daily.

Pay Rate: £15.00 – £16.81 per hour (PAYE Adv.), with alternative PAYE models available

Hours: Start at 05:30 am, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts

Holidays: 28 days, including Bank Holidays

Pension Scheme: Included

Job Requirements:

  • Valid LGV Category C (Class 2) licence
  • Digital Tachograph card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
  • Multi-drop experience preferred but not required
