Driver Hire Edinburgh West – Class 2 Drivers Wanted

Location: West Lothian

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Job Type: Ad Hoc / Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time (hours sometimes available but not guaranteed)

Are you a qualified HGV Class 2 driver seeking flexible work without a full-time commitment? We are currently recruiting reliable, safety-conscious, and professional drivers for ad hoc assignments across West Lothian.


What We Offer:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid CPC certification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 1 year of driving experience – essential
  • No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences, and no IN, DD, DR, or CD endorsements
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
  • Flexible and professional attitude


Typical Duties May Include:

  • Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries/collections (various products including steel, office furniture, food and drink, building & construction materials, and more)
  • A-B vehicle movements
  • General haulage or pallet network work
  • Loading/unloading as required
  • Performing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
