We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, the UK’s leading supplier of janitorial, cleaning, and hygiene products. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their young, vibrant team with a reliable and motivated 7.5T HGV Driver based in Bishop’s Stortford.
The Role
- Multi-drop deliveries across Essex, Milton Keynes, and EN postcode areas
- Loading and unloading goods
- Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 16:30
- No weekends
- No bank holidays
Pay & Benefits
- £16.25 per hour (including holiday pay) during the 12-week temporary period
- £14.50 per hour (not including holiday pay) during the 12-week temporary period
- After 12 weeks, transfer to a permanent contract with a £31,000 annual salary
- 8.5 hours per day paid, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch when transferred permanently.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (7.5T entitlement)
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
- No more than 3 points on your licence
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred
- Newly qualified drivers welcome
- Must have reliable transport to commute to and from the depot
