We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join one of our long-established clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business that offers full training, regular overtime and a monthly bonus scheme.
£13.00 per hour
Alternating weekly shifts:
- Week 1: 5:30am – 2:00pm
- Week 2: 1:30pm – 10:00pm
£10 late shift allowance for every afternoon shift worked
Overtime available and paid at time and a half
Monthly bonus scheme of up to £150, available after successfully completing a 3‑month probation period
The Role
Working within a busy warehouse environment, your duties will include:
- Picking, preparing and loading customer orders
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operating warehouse machinery and equipment where qualified
- Processing materials to customer specifications using specialist equipment
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
Skills & Experience
The following experience would be advantageous, although not essential as full training will be provided:
- Bandsaw operating experience
- Overhead gantry crane experience
- Counterbalance forklift (CB) licence/experience
A Category B driving licence would also be an advantage but is not essential.
Full Training Provided
A comprehensive 6-week training programme will be provided to ensure you are fully supported and confident in all aspects of the role.

This role is within a safety-critical working environment. Successful applicants will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing as part of the induction process, with periodic testing carried out throughout employment.
