Driver Hire Stranraer is recruiting on behalf of our client in Girvan for an experienced Class 1 Timber Wagon Driver. This is an ongoing temporary assignment with consistent Monday to Friday work, offering excellent rates of pay for the right candidate.
The Role
- Operating a Class 1 timber wagon
- Loading and unloading timber using the vehicle-mounted crane
- Delivering timber from forestry sites and timber yards
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Working safely in forestry and rural environments
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00am starts
- Ongoing temporary assignment
Pay
£16.81 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous timber wagon and loader crane experience is essential
