We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Storeman / Forklift Driver to join a busy and well-organised depot based in the West of Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently picking pallets and parcels for shipment
- Ensuring all items are packaged in the correct area, ready to be checked and wrapped
- Receiving and recording deliveries of stock
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
- Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and tidy
- Assisting customers collecting goods from the depot in a professional and helpful manner
- Working collaboratively with warehouse and office teams
- Communicating effectively with drivers, supervisors, and customers
- Providing excellent customer service during collections
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience is essential
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence (dated within the last 3 years)
- Good communication skills and a strong team-working attitude
- Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
