We are looking for Drivers Mate + Upskilling to HGV Class 2 to start immediately for our growing client base across the IP postcode.
The successful Drivers Mate + Upskilling to HGV Class 2 will receive:
- £12.63 all hours rising to £14.25 once HGV Trained.
- After successful probation upskilling to HGV Class 2 Driver.
- Employer contribution to private healthcare and dental care.
- Ability to buy holiday days.
- After 3 years service, an extra 5 holiday days.
- RTITB In-house training.
- 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.
- Upskilling to ADR and/or HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a Drivers Mate + Upskilling to HGV Class 2:
Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for you to upskill to your HGV Class 2 Licence! This is not to be missed! Working Monday to Friday on 0600hrs starts you will be delivering & collecting vending machines & specialist goods in and around East Anglia. Drivers Mate will deliver excellent customer service and safe installation of equipment along with supporting Delivery crew with navigational support. Shifts will typically be 9-11 hours long. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity so great for someone looking for stability and to boost their career to the next level!
As a Drivers Mate + Upskilling to HGV Class 2 you must:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Be fit and able
- Have a desire to drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
- Have no more than 6 effective penalty points.
- No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
This position is commutable from Stowmarket, Thetford, Newmarket, Ipswich, Diss and Bury St Edmunds.
