About the role: We are looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to join our client based in Doncaster, a leading manufacturer and distributor of plastic piping systems for the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company that provides high-quality products across the UK.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles to transport goods to various locations across the UK
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time
- Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and conducting routine checks
- Completing delivery paperwork and ensuring accuracy of records
- Representing the company with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and the public
What we are looking for:
- Class 1 licence
- Previous experience as a Class 1 HGV driver (preferred, but not essential)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to safety and compliance
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
