Driver Hire is currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB (Cat C) Driver to work with one of the UKs leading distributors, based out of Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent work, great earning potential, and excellent benefits.
Pay & Benefits: £18.00 p/hr
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00, 5 days per week
The Role: As a Class 2 HIAB Driver you will be responsible for delivering products between depot locations, ensuring excellent service and professionalism at all times. You will play a key role as a representative of the business, maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out vehicle safety and maintenance checks, including temperature checks
- Following all driver legislation and compliance requirements
- Delivering goods according to planned routes
- Picking and checking orders against invoices
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Verifying deliveries with depot teams to ensure accuracy
- Keeping the vehicle secure at all times during deliveries
- Taking full responsibility for the vehicle and goods throughout your shift
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- HIAB
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good communication and professional attitude
