Driver Hire Chester and North Wales are currently looking to recruit a Class 1 ADR driver for our client based in Sandycroft to work 3 to 4 days a week with a 4am start, typically 8/10 hr days. This is a temp position to April 2026.
The role involves:
- Conducting daily checks on vehicles to maintain road worthiness and comply with company and legal standards.
- Ensuring tachograph records are compliant in line with WTD and drivers hours regulations.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness inside and outside of cab, reporting defects and incidents promptly.
- Collection from their depots across the North East and delivery to their depot in Sandycroft.
You will need:
- HGV Class 1 driving licence.
- Current drivers CPC.
- Current ADR licence (Class 2 Gases, Tanks).
- Experience of fuels/Oils/Gas is essential, Hoses, coupling etc.
- Valid digital tacho card.
- Flexible approach and excellent communication skills.
