The predicted salary is between 13 - 22 £ per hour.
We are looking for Class 1 drivers to start immediately for our client based in Crewe. Varied shift patterns and start times available. Tramping, days & nights. Work around your own availability!
As a Class 1 Driver you must:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving an HGV CLASS 1 vehicle
- No more than 6 points on your license
- Valid / in date Drivers Card, DQC, Driving Licence
- Have previous trunking experience.
Class 1 drivers' responsibilities include:
- General driving duties.
- Carrying out deliveries for our various customers throughout the UK.
- Maintaining the security of load.
- Carrying out daily walk round checks on the vehicle.
- Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachographs, driving hours and working time.
- Accurately complete all relevant paperwork.
Pay Rates:
- £15.69ph M – F Days
- £16.81ph M – F Nights
- £16.81ph Saturday
- £19.05ph Sunday & Bank Holidays
- £26.20 Night out allowance
- Weekly Pay
- 8hr minimum guaranteed pay per day
- Rates include holiday pay.
