Our client, a long‑established and highly respected transport provider with over 50 years’ experience across Ireland and the UK, is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team based in the Moira area.
Position Details
- Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
- Type: Temporary-to-Permanent (12 weeks)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Start Time: 08:00 – finish
- £15.00 ph overtime paid after 40 hours @ £17.00 ph
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries throughout Northern Ireland
- Operate Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
- Complete daily walk‑round checks to ensure vehicle roadworthiness
- Keep vehicles clean and well maintained (interior & exterior)
- Secure loads correctly using internal straps and any additional equipment as required
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
- CPC Card (up to date)
- Tachograph Card
- 1 years driving experience is required and no more than 6 points for insurance reasons
- Good working knowledge of Northern Ireland road networks
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
