This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular work with a well-established national logistics operation. The Role As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of building products to builders’ merchants and trade customers. Typical duties will include: Driving a Class 1 HGV Delivering building products and construction materials Deliveries to builders’ merchants and trade sites Securing and checking loads before leaving site Completing vehicle and delivery checks Following delivery instructions and site procedures Completing delivery paperwork and digital records Providing professional customer service at delivery points Working safely at all times and complying with relevant transport legislation The role involves multi-drop deliveries, so previous experience of delivering to commercial and trade customers would be advantageous. What We’re Looking For The ideal Class 1 driver will have: A valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) HGV licence Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 1 driving experience Experience delivering building products, construction materials or similar loads is desirable Good knowledge of UK roads A professional and reliable approach Good communication and customer service skills The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules Why Apply?
