Driver Hire Lincoln are looking for a Class 2 HGV Mixer driver to fill a full time permanent role for our client in the Lincoln area. The temp to perm position is over a period of 13 weeks, then transferring onto our clients books on the 14th week.
Work Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays based on a rota
- 06:00 starts
- Approx. 16:30 finishes (later finishes may be required)
- Local work based in Lincoln
Job Duties:
- Deliver construction materials to local sites
- Work closely with the distribution team to ensure safe and efficient deliveries
- Use local knowledge to plan and complete deliveries effectively
- Provide a high level of customer service on site
- Assist with unloading when required
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (C) HGV licence
- Valid CPC and Tacho card
- Good communication skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Previous experience beneficial but not essential
- Safety boots and hi-vis required
For the first 13 weeks you will receive:
- £15.00 per hour for the first 8 hours per shift
- £22.50 per hour overtime after 8 hours
- Engagement on PAYE Basis
- Weekly pay
Upon successful completion of the 13 week temp to perm and transferring onto our clients books you will receive:
- £34,954 annual salary
- Contracted to 48 hours guaranteed each week
- Time and a half overtime after 48 hours each week
- Pension scheme
