Pay:

• £15.69/hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
• Overtime available based on client needs

Are you an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver looking for steady, ongoing work in the Edinburgh area? We’re recruiting on behalf of our client a key player in the food production and distribution industry, for a reliable and professional HGV driver to join their transport team on a temp basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected and long-established operation, delivering essential bulk food products to clients across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and to the correct locations
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
• Work closely with a driver’s mate who will assist with loading/unloading
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers
• Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-presented

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC certification and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
• Good physical fitness – some heavy lifting is required
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
