Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting dependable HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers for flexible, ongoing assignments in the Lincoln area. This role suits professional drivers seeking immediate starts, consistent hours, and competitive rates.
Position: HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Start Time: 07:00 daily
Employment Type: Temporary / Ad hoc
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Structure:
- £14.75 per hour (Monday–Friday, first 8 hours)
- £19.66 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
- Weekly pay every Friday via PAYE
- Minimum 8-hour daily pay guarantee
Key Responsibilities:
- Start shifts at 07:00, working 10–12 hour days
- Complete 5–10 deliveries per day
- Safely strap and secure loads
- Perform manual handling tasks
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and safety
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence
- CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence
- Access to personal transport
- Positive and proactive work ethic
