About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Colney Street based customers team. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely, professionally, and on time, while providing excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries and collections using a Class 2 vehicle
- Complete all required paperwork and delivery documentation
- Load and unload goods as required
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure compliance with all driving, health & safety, and company policies
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Proven experience in Class 2 driving (6 months preferred)
- Good understanding of road safety and regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
