Are you a Class 1 HGV Driver looking for full time work up to Christmas and beyond? Do you have 3 months experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles? Are you looking for work with limited handballing? If so Driver Hire Leeds East may have the Class 1 HGV job for you. We are currently recruiting 3 x Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based in LS25 (Sherburn Leeds). Our Client has several contracts to fill leading up to the peak season at Christmas. They have work available in contracts with: * Retail shops delivering to retail parks and town centre shops – You would complete 3 pre planned drops a day – Start times 4AM (can include weekend work) * NHS – dropping to NHS warehouses – 3 drops a day – Start time 6AM * Shunting between own warehouses – Start time 6AM You will be required to use a pump truck in both roles, so pump truck experience is preferred Requirements * Able to commute to Sherburn * Hold a CAT C+E driving licence entitlement * Up to date CPC And Digi Tacho cards * Be able to pass a driving assessment with the client on site * Experience reversing Class 1 trailers – Min 3 months Pay: Weekday: £18.50 per hour + holiday pay = £20.73 per hour Saturday: £23.13 per hour + holiday pay = £25.92 per hour Sunday: £27.75 per hour + holiday pay = £31.10 per hour Minimum 40 hours per week.
