Location: ChessingtonDelivery Area: City of London, Greater London & surrounding areasHours: Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 am–3:00 pmSalary:30,000.00Vehicle: Company vehicle providedStart Date: ImmediateAbout the Role Our customer is looking for a reliable, professional and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering lighting products, components and related goods to customers, businesses and sites across the City of London and Greater London. Occasionally, you may be required to deliver outside the usual delivery area. This is a hands-on role involving regular loading and unloading, so you must be comfortable with manual handling and moving boxes and products throughout the working day. Your Responsibilities Deliver lighting products, components and related goods safely and on time Drive throughout the City of London, Greater London and surrounding areas Complete deliveries outside the usual area when required Load and unload boxes and products from the vehicle Handle goods carefully to prevent damage Check deliveries against paperwork before leaving Obtain proof of delivery where required Plan and follow efficient delivery routes Keep the office updated regarding deliveries, delays or any issues Provide a professional and friendly service to customers Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy and presentable Follow all road traffic laws and regulations Assist with warehouse and loading duties when required Requirements Full UK driving licence Confident driving in London and Central London Good knowledge of London roads and surrounding areas Physically fit and comfortable with regular loading, unloading and manual handling Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Good communication and customer service skills Able to work independently and manage a daily delivery schedule Flexible regarding working hours and delivery locations Willing to work occasional weekends and overtime when required Previous delivery driving experience is preferred Working Hours Monday to Friday Typical hours: 7:00am–3:00pm Hours may vary depending on delivery schedules, traffic and business requirements Occasional weekend work and overtime may be required What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is dependable, flexible and professional, with the confidence to drive throughout London.
