We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client for an ongoing position based in Barnsley.
About the role:
- Delivering and collecting scaffolding materials to and from sites
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers and site teams
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Experience driving manual and automatic HGV vehicles (DAF and Volvo)
- Experience operating DAF Multilift cable systems / RoRo vehicles
- Experience securing loads using ratchet straps
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road transport regulations
