Driver Hire Carlisle are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver role (CAT C) for our well-known and established clients in the Carlisle and surrounding areas. This will involve palletised multi drops of between 1-5 drops across the UK.
With flexible hours of work available, we have the opportunity to suit your needs.
What We Offer a Class 2 Driver:
- Potential up to £20.84 PER HOUR PAYE ADV (shift dependant)
- Shifts run across Monday-Sunday
- Days and Night Shifts available, with shift length from 10-12 hours
- Ongoing or AD-HOC work to suit.
- Possible Temp-Perm
Key Responsibilities for a Class 2 Driver:
- General Haulage across the UK with 1-5 drops per shift
- Palletised Multi drops
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirements
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Experience & Qualifications for a Class 2 Driver:
- Valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
- Minimum 6 months class 2 experience
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Pallet drop or site delivery experience will be an advantage.
