We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 Recycling & Waste Driver to join our team in Calne.
This is a great opportunity for a professional HGV Class 2 Driver looking for regular, ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent.
The Role
- Drive a Class 2 HGV safely and responsibly.
- Carry out local waste and recycling collections.
- Work as part of a team with loaders and collection crews.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure waste and recycling is collected safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company, health & safety and environmental procedures.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and members of the public.
Requirements
- Waste, recycling or refuse experience is desirable but not essential
- Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable working as part of a team and undertaking some physical work
