This is a physical, early-start role working as part of a crew on set local routes. We’re looking for someone reliable, safety-focused, and happy to get stuck in.

Pay & Bonus

  • £37,755 basic salary
  • £1,000 Loyalty Bonus paid after successful completion of probation followed by a regular monthly performance bonus.

Full-time, permanent position

Shifts

  • 04:00 start based on 45 hours a week with 1 in 6 weekend work

The Role

  • Driving Class 2 refuse vehicles on planned Brighton routes
  • Working with a crew or single crewed completing refuse and recycling collections
  • Physical work, including getting in and out of the vehicle regularly
  • Driving safely in tight streets and busy areas
  • Keeping the vehicle and equipment in good condition

What You’ll Need

  • Category C (Class 2) licence
  • Valid CPC & Digi card
  • Comfortable with early starts and physical work
  • Reliable and able to work well as part of a team

Desirable: RO-RO experience (not essential)
