Driver Hire is currently recruiting Class 1 HGV C+E Weekend Drivers to support a fantastic long-standing client delivering to RDC, Trunk runs and stores across the UK. This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for flexible weekend work, ongoing assignments, and the chance to secure a permanent position through temp-to-perm opportunities if successful within the role.
The Role
- Driving Class 1 HGV C+E vehicles safely and professionally
- Delivering to stores across the UK
- Working weekend day shifts with start times from 07:00
- Supporting a fantastic long-standing client
- Completing deliveries and collections depending on the route
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately
- Providing excellent customer service while representing Driver Hire and our client
- Following all road transport, driver hours, and health and safety regulations

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 / HGV C+E licence
- Valid CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience due to insurance requirements
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
