Driver Hire is currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to work with one of the UKs leading independent foodservice distributors, based out of Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent work, great earning potential, and excellent benefits.

Pay & Benefits: £16.00 p/hr

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am - 5 days per week

The Role: As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering products between client restaurant locations, ensuring excellent service and professionalism at all times. You will play a key role as a representative of the business, maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out vehicle safety and maintenance checks, including temperature checks
  • Following all driver legislation and compliance requirements
  • Delivering goods according to planned routes
  • Picking and checking orders against invoices
  • Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
  • Verifying deliveries with depot teams to ensure accuracy
  • Keeping the vehicle secure at all times during deliveries
  • Taking full responsibility for the vehicle and goods throughout your shift
