Cat C+E Driver (Casual Days/Hours) – Basingstoke, GB

Driver Hire Basingstoke and Newbury are looking to recruit Cat C+E Drivers to support local clients in Basingstoke, Newbury, Thatcham, Hook and Hungerford. The work varies from client to client – building merchants, accident repair centres, supermarkets, and occasional Temp to Perm opportunities. Days are flexible, generally Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out designated duties in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks.
- Be reliable, polite, and friendly.
- Provide excellent customer service as the face of Driver Hire.
- Plan routes and use a Sat Nav system.
REQUIREMENTS
- Full UK Driving Licence, with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Current Drivers Card and Drivers Qualification Card.
- Over the age of 21, with at least 1 year of driving experience.
- Previous commercial driving experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Desirable: current DBS check.
- Verifiable references.
HOURS, PAY & BENEFITS
- £18.40 – £32.96 per hour – Monday to Friday, with enhanced rates for weekend work.
- Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day (full day) or 4 hours (half day).
- Flexible working days to suit you.
- Paid weekly in arrears.
