Driver Hire (Barnstaple) is looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Driver for a full time position with our client in the Barnstaple area. This is a hands-on role that mixes driving with physical work, and will contain a mixture of trade waste work, flat bed work & skip work.
Pay and hours:
- £38,235.60 per annum + bonuses
- Weekly pay
- Monday to Friday 04:00 starts
- Occasional Saturday work
- Occasional PM shifts (14:00)
- Minimum 8 paid hours per shift
What the job involves:
- Trade Waste drop off’s & collections
- Flat bed work
- Skips (Ro-Ro)
- This role includes physical work and heavy lifting.
What you need:
- Cat C Class 2 licence
- Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- Able to get to the Barnstaple depot for early starts
- Physically able to carry out manual handling
- Mobile phone for communication
