Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to offer flexible temporary opportunities for Delivery Van Drivers in Andover. 8-15 drops is the typical amount per day for this role.

Position: Van Driver (Category B licence)

Days: Monday – Sunday (Flexible)

Location: Andover

Pay Rate: £14.24 (daytime) – £16.31 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.

The successful Van Driver will have:

  • a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
  • experience in delivering using 3.5t commercial vehicles
  • physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
  • own reliable transport to travel to work

Responsibilities:

  • maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
  • provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
  • adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
