Driver Hire South East London are recruiting for 7.5 tonne Multi-drop Delivery Drivers for our Food Distribution client based within SE28 postcode areas.
PAYE: £16.00 per hour paid weekly (including holiday pay)
Type of shifts:
- 6am-4pm
- Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday
- Start times can vary between 6am-4pm
Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UK CAT C1 licence with experience and checkable references with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
- Valid CPC manual driving licence
- Experience as a 7.5T driver / LGV / HGV (references required)
- Must be over the age of 21 years (insurance purposes)
- Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
