We have an excellent opportunity with an immediate start for a Depot Administrator working for one of our clients based in Pocklington with the possibility of Temp to Perm.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in an office environment, with excellent customer service and great written and oral communication skills, have a high attention to detail whilst working under pressure, be a team player and must have a hands-on attitude and be able to work in any area of the depot when required.
Duties:
- Carry out all administration in relation to processing orders, ensuring accurate accounting, documentation and according to company processes and procedures.
- Deal with any trade counter enquiries and associated cash sales.
- Control stock investment and stock availability.
- Ensure supplies are distributed promptly and efficiently and that all transactions are permissible and within the requirements of Finance, BASIS, Poisons regulations etc.
- Maintenance of internal and external standards for compliance including but not limited to BASIS, Water and Fire Regulations, Health and Safety Executive, and Ministry of Transport inspections, Working Time Regulations.
- Maintain appropriate accounting and reporting procedures in relation to all company monies and stock.
- Ensure security of company cash, stock and property.
- Carry out all administration required.
- Adhere to company service standards, procedures and ways of working.
- Support TPL administration input, ensuring correct documentation and facilitating effective communication to the local and wider teams and relationships the TPL providers.
Core hours are Mon Fri usually working 8am 5pm.
