Our client is looking for an experienced HGV Driver (Class 1) to join their team based in Pocklington, working Monday - Friday. Nights out will be required each week. Your role will be to safely and efficiently deliver their bulk liquid products to customers nationwide using a bulk liquid tanker or curtainside trailer.
Expected duties:
- Driving a modern unit and trailer to deliver bulk and multidrop products to customer sites nationwide.
- Loading the tanker/trailer with product as required.
- Discharging product and completing relevant paperwork.
- Completing daily vehicle safety checks.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy.
- Complying with all driver's hours and working time regulations.
- Following customer and company guidelines and processes.
Your skills/background:
- HGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points.
- Tachograph Card.
- Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Good understanding of Driver Transport Legislation.
- Strong safety focus.
- Night Out availability Mon-Fri.
- Class 1 HGV Experience.
- Tanker experience desirable.
- Attention to detail and experience completing paperwork.
- Team Player.
- Willingness to go above and beyond.
This is a Temp to Perm position with prompt PAYE payment weekly, minimum 8 hours pay/day (£16/hr), referral bonus, and holiday pay. Once you transfer to our client you can expect:
