Driver Hire Winchester is recruiting Class 2 (HGV) Drivers for a fantastic opportunity with a well‑established client in the waste sector. This is a great chance to secure long‑term, full‑time work with training provided and career progression available.
The Role:
- Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays available)
- 12‑week temp to perm opportunity
- Working hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm (approx. 50 hours per week)
- Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips
- Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles
- Tipping at designated sites
- Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining accurate delivery records via PDA
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed within scheduled time slots
What We're Looking For:
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- Minimum 6‑12 months driving experience
- RoRo/Skip experience preferred (training provided if not)
- Experience using chains is advantageous
- Own transport to commute to work
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
