Factory Hand / General Labourer - Full-Time Opportunity

Monday to Friday | Immediate Start | Long-Term Opportunity

Driver Hire Winchester is recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-established drinks and beverage manufacturer for a Factory Hand / General Labourer to join their busy production team. If you're reliable, hardworking, enjoy hands-on work, and are looking for a stable, full-time role within a modern manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 7:00am and 8:00am, depending on production requirements
  • Full-time hours
  • Long-term opportunity with a respected and growing company

Your Responsibilities

As part of the production team, you\'ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Your duties will include:

  • Safely moving and handling 60-70kg sacks of green coffee using the correct manual handling techniques
  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Palletising finished products and supporting goods-in activities
  • Operating pallet trucks safely (forklift experience is beneficial but not essential)
  • Assisting machine operators with stock movement and production support
  • Keeping the warehouse and production areas clean and organised, including sweeping, emptying bins, and general housekeeping
  • Following food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
  • Working closely with a small, supportive team to achieve daily production targets

We\'re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, factory, production, or manufacturing environment
  • A good level of physical fitness and confidence carrying out manual handling duties
  • Excellent reliability, punctuality, and attendance
  • A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support different areas when required
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A forklift licence would be an advantage, but it\'s not essential
