Driver Hire Winchester is recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established wholesale distribution clients for an experienced
Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Multi-Drop Driver .
This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and friendly team, delivering food and drink products to retail and catering customers across the local region.
- The Class 2 (Cat C) Role
- Monday to Friday
- Start Time 05:00am
- 38 hours per week
- Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores, convenience shops, and catering customers
- Driving a modern 26-tonne Class 2 vehicle

- Your Responsibilities
- Safely complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries while providing outstanding customer service.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects.
- Load and unload deliveries using tail lifts and manual handling equipment where required.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery (POD).
- Follow planned routes while complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
- Maintain high standards of road safety, professionalism, and vehicle cleanliness.
- Work closely with the transport and warehouse teams to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 multi-drop delivery experience.
- Good geographical knowledge and confident route planning skills.
- Friendly, professional approach with excellent customer service skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
