Regardless of your level of experience, we have class 1 HGV driving roles available immediately. As the nations number 1 provider of logistics staff, we have a wide range of positions readily available, working with a variety of builders merchants & hauliers, who are all well established businesses within the transport industry. We will support you with your tachograph and gain you experience in HGV vehicles, to get you confident in your new career. Whilst working as a class 1 HGV driver with us, you will typically be expected to: Commence work at around 07:00 each morning Carry out daily vehicle checks, before & after each shift Ensure every delivery load is strapped securely Distribute goods to businesses & construction sites Complete roughly 4-6 deliveries per day Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly Interact with customers in a friendly & respectful manner Driver Hire are proud to hold an excellent record of helping newly qualified class 1 HGV drivers, consistently giving opportunities to those who are new to the world of transport.
