Driver Hire are currently looking for a number of HGV class 2 drivers. Regardless of your level of experience, we have class 2 HGV driving roles available immediately. As the nation's number 1 provider of logistics staff, we have a wide range of positions readily available, working with a variety of builders merchants & hauliers, who are all well established businesses within the transport industry.

Working with an agency who values you as an integral member of the team, you will be given complete freedom to choose which days you wish to work on a week by week basis. Whilst working as a HGV class 2 driver with us, you will typically be expected to:

  • Commence work at around 07:00 each morning
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks, before & after each shift
  • Ensure every delivery load is strapped securely
  • Distribute goods to businesses & construction sites
  • Complete roughly 4-6 deliveries per day
  • Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly
  • Interact with customers in a friendly & respectful manner

Driver Hire are proud to hold an excellent record of helping newly qualified class 2 HGV drivers, consistently giving opportunities to those who are new to the world of transport. Previous class 2 HGV driving experience is NOT necessary, however, please ensure you have the following:

  • Full UK licence with category C entitlement or above
  • Valid CPC & digi-tacho cards
  • No DR, IN or TT related conviction codes on your licence
  • The ability to work independently in an efficient manner
