Driver Hire are currently recruiting for a 3 month contract that could turn into a permanent class 2 HIAB driving position, for the right candidate. As the nation's number 1 recruiter within the logistics sector, we are proud to partner with the UK's leading supplier of building materials, helping supply goods to both businesses & the general public. This class 2 HIAB driving vacancy is based out of our customer's St Helens depot, delivering to a large portion of the North West & beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Work Monday to Friday for 8-10 hours per day
  • Commence work at 7:00am each morning
  • Be available to work alternate Saturday shifts
  • Distribute goods to businesses, construction sites & residential areas
  • Complete all necessary delivery paperwork
  • Communicate with customers in a friendly & helpful manner during deliveries
  • Safely operate mounted HIAB cranes to offload materials on a regular basis

Qualifications:

Before applying to this class 2 HIAB driver role, please ensure you have a full UK driving licence with category C entitlement, valid digi-tacho & CPC cards, as well as an accredited lorry loader qualification, which has been issued by a recognised governing body such as ALLMI, RTITB or similar organisation. Your licence must also be clear of any TT, IN or DR related driving conviction codes.
