FLT Counterbalance Driver - Haydock
Salary: £510 per week plus OVERTIME
Hours: Monday - Friday / 8am - 5pm
We are currently recruiting on behalf of the UK's leading supplier of high quality building products. This well renowned business is looking to add to their Haydock based team, with an FLT driver experienced in operating a counterbalance vehicle. This is a versatile role, encompassing forklift driving, manual handling and order picking. Candidates must be willing to help with all aspects of a warehousing role, as well as being able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
FLT Driver Responsibilities
- Securely loading & unloading delivery vehicles
- Picking orders in an efficient manner
- Organising stock to ensure daily operations are streamlined
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed
- Manually lifting items up to 25kg in accordance with safe manual handling practices
FLT Driver Requirements
- An FLT counterbalance licence (RTITB or similar is preferred)
- At least 6 months experience of operating an FLT counterbalance vehicle
- Previous experience of working in a busy warehouse environment
- Proactive approach to work
- Physically fit & prepared for daily manual handling
