Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting experienced Multi-Drop Van Drivers for a leading wholesale catering supplier of high-quality ambient, chilled, fresh and frozen produce.
TEMPORARY AD-HOC WORK We're looking for reliable and flexible drivers who are happy to take on ad-hoc shifts, sometimes at short notice.
Reliability is essential – if you accept a shift, we need you to turn up on time, work hard and provide a professional service to our client. £14.50 p/h PAYE weekly pay 4:00am starts 8 – 10 hour shifts
Duties
- Loading your vehicle accurately and checking all products against the delivery load sheets.
- Safely loading and unloading cages at customer delivery locations.
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork is checked and completed accurately.
- Following planned delivery routes and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
- Delivering a range of ambient, chilled, fresh and frozen catering products, primarily across Central London and surrounding areas.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle and promptly reporting any damage or issues.
- Providing a professional and friendly service while building positive relationships with customers and the office team. Requirements:
- UK Category B manual licence, held 2+ years
- Max 6 points; no DR, DD, TT, IN or MS90
- Aged 25+ for insurance
- 1+ year commercial/multi-drop van experience
- Able to travel to the depot and start shift at 4am
- Physically fit for heavy lifting
