Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting Multi-drop Class 2 Drivers for our clients flagship showroom based in Northolt UB5, one of the UKs biggest suppliers of internal and external prestige doors.
£41,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 7:00 to 16:30
12 weeks Temp to Perm Contract
You will need excellent communication skills and an attentive manner to manage the delivery processes ensuring everything is in line with our clients strict company standards and procedures. Being motivated, agile and hard-working are key to this role. The job will require a high level of physical fitness.
The Role:
- Multi-drop deliveries (up to 10 daily) of internal and external doors, fire doors, framing and accessories.
- Hand-balling deliveries.
- Collecting products from suppliers and customers.
- Assist in the loading of your vehicle, and ensure that all loads are fully strapped and secure.
- Completing accurate paperwork and daily vehicle checks.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with CAT C entitlement, licence must be CLEAN of points.
- Valid CPC and TACHO qualifications.
- Minimum of 1 year experience commercially as a Class 2 driver is preferred.
- Commercial Cat C driving experience in the UK (references required).
- Physically well presented at all times.
- High level of physical fitness as deliveries require lifting and shifting.
- Being motivated and hard-working are key to this role.
