Multi-Drop Van Driver - Early Start, Overtime Pay in London

Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruitingMultidrop Van Driversto support a range of clients across the UB postcode areas, including Uxbridge, Greenford, Southall, Hayes, and West Drayton
All roles aretemporary ad hoc, withno guaranteed shifts

• £13.75 – £16.55 per hour(including holiday pay)
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
• Overtime paid after 9 hours(breaks unpaid)
• Day shifts:Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
• Start times:Between 5:30am and 8:00am

As aMultidrop Van Driveryour duties will include:

• Completingmulti-drop deliveriesof high-value goods (e.g. vehicles, catering equipment, plant/tools, alcohol) across the M25 and Central London
• Carrying outdeliveries and collectionsto/from customers and suppliers
• Preparing ordersand assisting with loading/unloading vehicles
• Securing loads using ratchet straps(essential experience required)
• Handlingheavy lifting, including transporting items over distance and up/down stairs
• Communicating professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues
• Performingbasic vehicle checks(fuel, tyres, fluid levels)
• Keeping accurate records ofdeliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
• Following allroad safety and traffic regulations

Requirements you must have:

• Full UK Cat B licenceheld for at least 2 years
• No more than 6 penalty points(no DR, DD, TT, IN, or MS90 endorsements)
• Be aged25 or over(insurance requirement)
• At least1 year’s experienceas a commercial/multi-drop van driver(references required)
• Acommute within 30 minutesto the work location
• Goodphysical fitness(roles involves heavy lifting)
• Strongcommunication skillsand customer service approach
• Knowledge ofdriving regulations and safety standards
