Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Drivers (CAT C) for our gas supplier customer based in Uxbridge. £41,650 per annum / £18.85p/h Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30.

Class 2 ADR Duties:

  • Multi-drop deliveries (ADR Category 2)
  • Load vehicle with gas canisters (trollies available to assist)
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and fluid levels
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

ADR Driver Requirements:

  • Valid UK CAT C licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)
  • Valid CPC, TACHO and ADR Certification
  • At least 1 year HGV Class 2 ADR driving experience (references required)
  • Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months
  • Physically fit, as this role is fairly manual (includes being out in all elements)
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
