Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to support our clients across the UB postcode areas, including Uxbridge, Harefield, Hayes, Northolt, Greenford, and West Drayton.
ALL ROLES BEGIN ON A TEMPORARY AD HOC BASIS – SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.
£20.50 to £24.50 per hour (PAYE, including holiday pay)
Rates vary depending on experience, overtime, night shifts, and weekend work.

Typical Shifts:
Deliveries and collections for construction companies, builders merchants, scaffolding firms, and plant/tool hire businesses
Multi-drop deliveries (up to 10 drops) within and around the M25
Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time
Secure loads correctly using appropriate methods (e.g. strapping)
Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues
Carry out routine vehicle checks (fuel, tyres, fluid levels, etc.)
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Comply with all road safety and driving regulations
Requirements:
Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence held for at least 2 years (maximum 6 penalty points; no DR, DD, TT, IN, or MS90 endorsements)
Valid HIAB certification
Valid xiskglj CPC and digital tachograph card
Minimum age of 25 (insurance requirements)
At least 1 year of Class 2 HIAB driving experience (references required)
Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Good understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
