Driver Hire Uxbridge are currently recruiting for Class 2 Multi-drop Drivers for a high-end drinks supplier based in Hayes. THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRANSPORTING AND DELIVERING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AS PART OF THE DAILY DUTIES. 10 weeks Temp to Perm Contract. PAID trial day. £18.00 to £20.00 per hour (experience and performance) £19 per hour once perm. 22 days paid holiday + public/bank holidays, once perm.

  • Monday to Friday, 6am starts, finish around 3pm
  • Mondays and Tuesdays: Longer days + warehouse duties after driving
  • Wednesday to Friday: mainly job and finish (flexibility required)
  • OPTIONAL SATURDAYS 1 in 4, guaranteed 12 hours pay

You will need excellent communication skills and an attentive manner to manage the delivery processes ensuring everything is in line with our clients' strict company standards and procedures. Being motivated, agile and hard-working are key to this role. The job will require a high level of physical fitness.

The Role:

  • Multi-drop deliveries of premium alcohol to customers (wines, spirits and beers to 5 Star Hotels, Bars, Restaurants etc.)
  • Collecting products from suppliers
  • Preparing customer orders prior to dispatch
  • Loading orders onto vehicles
  • Completing accurate paperwork

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence with CAT C entitlement, no more than 6 points held
  • Valid CPC and TACHO qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years experience commercially as a Class 2 driver is preferred
  • Commercial Cat C driving experience in the UK (references required)
  • High level of physical fitness as deliveries require lifting and shifting
  • Being motivated and hard-working are key to this role
