About the role: We are currently seeking a Forklift Driver / Yard Operative to join our client located in Barnsley for an ongoing position. This role involves a mix of forklift operation and general yard duties, supporting the smooth running of daily operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials
- Managing stock within the yard, ensuring accurate storage and organisation
- Assisting with deliveries and dispatch
- Carrying out general yard duties as required
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
What we are looking for:
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance essential; other licences beneficial)
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Willingness to carry out manual handling tasks as part of daily duties
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
