Driver Hire Teesside is looking for a Resourcing-Focused Recruitment Consultant to help us find, screen, and manage a steady flow of quality temporary staff across the TS postcodes. We need a people-person who thrives under pressure. If you\’re organised, proactive, and passionate about matching people to jobs, we want to hear from you!
Your role will be varied and dynamic – each day is what you make of it. But expect to spend a lot of time on the phone!
As a Recruitment Consultant your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Client & Candidate Interaction: Build excellent relationships with both clients and candidates, filling all bookings efficiently and effectively
• Sourcing & Screening: Source and interview candidates to maintain a strong pool of quality temporary workers
• Business Growth: Identify new client prospects, call dormant clients, and visit live clients to ensure a continuous flow of work for our candidates
• Advertising & Social Media: Write and post compelling job adverts across various social media platforms to attract top talent
• CV Screening & Candidate Registration: Review CVs, conduct interviews, and complete candidate registrations to ensure the highest standards
• Manage Bookings: Handle urgent client needs with a fast-paced, proactive approach to ensure all staffing requirements are met

The successful Recruitment Consultant must have:

• Experience: Some experience in recruitment, resourcing, HR, or fast-paced admin is preferred but not essential
• Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Strong problem solving abilities
• Team Player: A team-oriented individual who takes pride in delivering outstanding service
• Attention to Detail: Strong IT skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Full UK Driving Licence: Required for this role

On-Call Responsibility:
This role includes shared on-call duties on a rotating weekly basis to handle out-of-hours calls. A mobile phone will be provided, and you\’ll receive full support to manage any urgent client or candidate needs confidentially.
The successful recruitment consultant can expect:

• Competitive Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 starting basic salary (DOE)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (40-hour office-based week)
• Holiday Allowance: 20 days annual leave + Bank
