Class 2 Hookloader Driver - Stockton-on-Tees

Driver Hire Teesside are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Hookloader Driver for a civil engineering customer based in Stockton-on-Tees.
This is a specialist driving role, so applicants must have previous experience operating a hookloader vehicle as well as holding a valid CSCS card.
The role will involve:
- Driving a Class 2 hookloader vehicle
- Collection and movement of skips/containers between sites
- Safe operation of hookloader equipment
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Working on construction and civil engineering sites
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
- Working closely with site teams and following site safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Category C / Class 2 licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous hookloader experience - essential
- Valid CSCS Card - essential
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations
- Reliable and professional approach
- Comfortable working within construction and civil engineering environments
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 hookloader driver looking for temporary work with an established civil engineering business.
Please note: applicants without previous hookloader experience and a valid CSCS card will not be considered for this role.
