The Role

Driver Hire Teesside are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 or Class 2 HIAB Hook Driver for ongoing work based in Middlesbrough. This is a busy, hands-on role working within a well-established transport operation, offering consistent work for the right driver.

Responsibilities

  • Driving Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) vehicles
  • Operating HIAB with hook attachment
  • Deliveries and collections to customer sites
  • Daily vehicle checks and safe operation at all times
  • Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
  • Maintaining cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle

This is a physically active role, working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C) licence
  • CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
  • HIAB Certificate with Hook and must have experience
  • Good understanding of driver hours & WTD regulations
  • Ability to work independently and manage your day
  • Professional and customer-focused attitude

Working Hours

Monday to Friday Day shifts

Occasional flexibility required for early / late starts
