Driver Hire Teesside is recruiting a Class 2 ADR Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity based in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for long-term work with a well-established business operating within a specialist and regulated environment.
The role will involve UK-wide deliveries and collections, including chemical deliveries to customer sites. Occasional nights out and weekend work may be required depending on operational needs.
The Role
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
- UK-wide deliveries and collections
- Delivering chemicals to customer sites
- Collecting empty IBCs and kegs
- Ensuring loads are secured correctly and checked against transport documents
- Managing transport paperwork, including MSDS and delivery documentation
- Completing pump-overs from IBCs to customer tanks
- Liaising with customers and site contacts
- Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and equipment standards
- Working safely in line with method statements, risk assessments and site rules
The ideal candidate will be:

Requirements
Essential:
- Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
- Valid ADR
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
Desirable:
- Dangerous goods handling experience
- FLT licence
- General IT / app-based reporting experience
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week. Occasional nights out and weekend work may be required.
